Public Storage rental offices are almost all glass, which makes them bright and welcoming but also hard to keep comfortable in direct sun. 3M Prestige PR40X was specified as an exterior-applied film — installed on the outside face of the glass rather than the interior — so it rejects solar heat and glare before it ever reaches the glass. It cuts heat gain and fade-causing UV without the metallic, mirrored look of older reflective films, so the storefront still reads clean and modern.
3M Fasara White Opaque SH2MA — Privacy on the Interior Glass
Inside the rental office, 3M Fasara White Opaque SH2MA decorative film was applied to interior partition glass to give staff privacy at the counter and back-office areas without closing off the space with blinds or drywall. The clean white opaque finish matches the bright, retail feel of the Public Storage brand while blocking direct sightlines where they’re needed.
