Guardian Bastille worked with ASICS on a custom glass-branding package that combined two very different film techniques at their Manhattan showroom and additional ASICS locations: large-format custom printed window film and 3M Dusted Crystal decorative film with a precision-cut logo.
Custom Printed Window Film — A Full-Scale Storefront Mural
For the showroom walls, Guardian Bastille produced a large-format custom printed graphic — an illustrated cityscape featuring the ASICS Tiger storefront, complete with Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, and Staten Island street signage. The artwork was printed directly onto film on our large-format printer, then applied edge-to-edge across the glass wall behind the shoe display, turning a plain glass partition into a branded environment piece that ties directly into the ASICS retail experience.
3M Dusted Crystal Film — A Precision-Cut Logo, Positive and Negative
On the office and reception glass, Guardian Bastille installed 3M Dusted Crystal frosted film and hand-cut the ASICS spark logo directly out of the film. The logo was executed as both a positive and a negative image across different panels — on some panes the spark is cut away, leaving clear glass in the shape of the logo against a frosted field; on others the frosted logo itself is the only frosted element on an otherwise clear pane. The result gives ASICS privacy and a finished, branded look on interior glass without ever touching paint or etching the glass itself.
One Program, Multiple ASICS Locations
This combination of custom printed graphics and precision-cut decorative film has been carried across multiple ASICS locations, giving every space a consistent, on-brand look — from the product wall to the private offices. It is a good example of what is possible when custom printed window film and cut decorative film are used together: one technique makes a bold visual statement, the other adds a refined, branded touch to everyday glass.
